Location

In the Munich metropolitan region - just 30 km east of the Bavarian capital - our location is right next to the train station in Wörth/Hörlkofen.

We have secured the Hörlkofen site for decades and created additional personnel and spatial capacities to the existing Plant 1 and Plant 2 in order to respond to market requirements and the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the best possible way.

Location expansion in 2025
successfully Completed

The extensive expansion of our facility in Hörlkofen has been completed. In October 2025, the new administrative building was officially opened and inaugurated in the presence of approximately 200 guests. The expansion also includes a modern logistics center, a production hall with cleanrooms, an energy center, a parking garage, and our new company restaurant, Kraftwerk, which offers employees a diverse range of culinary options and a space for socializing.

With this new building, GEWO is creating a forward-looking work environment with open layouts and flexible workstations that promote interdisciplinary collaboration. The state-of-the-art work environment does not feature assigned desks – employees use ergonomic flexible workstations that they can choose freely each day.

Today, the facility spans more than 30,000 square meters of production and office space and offers room for continued growth. These expansions enhance both our manufacturing capabilities and the quality of our precision work at the micrometer and nanometer levels – particularly for the semiconductor industry and medical technology.
