The protection of the environment and the sustainable use of resources is essential for us and an important aspect of our thoughts and actions.

Location expansion –
high tech but sustainable

Sustainability was also a key consideration in the expansion of our Hörlkofen facility: The new parking garage, featuring a solar roof and a capacity of 580 parking spaces – including 10 electric vehicle charging stations – is now complete. Once fully expanded, there will be as many as 60 electric vehicle charging stations.

Regenabwasser wird zum Beispiel vom Standort selbst aufbereitet, im Regenrückhaltebecken von allen Dachflächen gesammelt und hierbei sogar der 100-jährige Regen mit einkalkuliert, damit es keine Überflutungen gibt. Bei steigendem Wasserspiegel wird Wasser an das großzügig angelegte Biotop neben dem GEWO Gelände weitergeleitet, um eine kontrollierte Ableitung an die nahegelegene Natur zu gewährleisten.

In addition to the green façades, all roofs are extensively greened and equipped with photovoltaic systems. This allows us to generate electricity and cover our peak consumption ourselves.

We have our own combined heat and power plant, a waste water treatment plant and focus on energy conversion and heat recovery.
