The company Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH handed out the award “Supply-Chain-Partner” to the company Gewo Feinmechanik GmbH. As one out of nine worldwide suppliers – and first supplier for mechanical components and devices generally – was the Gewo the one, which got the admission about this award. The Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH appreciate with it, the since 2006 steady growing, perfect and faithful cooperation between both companies. In addition, the Gewo Feinmechanik GmbH consolidates with the award of their position as a high-tech-supplier for a “Global Player”.
Precision, highest quality requirements and effort, paired with latest machine appointments and very good trained employees, made this success possible.
This award is currently a visible argument for the power of the Gewo Feinmechanik GmbH, which produce with their 215 Employees high accurate mechanical parts and devices for the international markets.
That this success is still holding on, Gewo investigates powerfully into the future. On September the 14th, the roofing ceremony of the factory No. 2 has been celebrated, where in the end of this year, 9.700m² more manufacturing area for new machines, mounting surface and dust-free rooms will be available.
