Bavarian social business comes from Wörth.

GEWO awarded as a Bavarian family business this year.

On Friday, june  the 26th of 2015 The Business Association  „The family business owner“ announced the winner from the price „Bavarian family business owner from the year“.

GEWO Feinmechanik GmbH was awarded in the class social engagement. The head office of GEWO is in Hörlkofen/Wörth near Erding with round 280 employees.

For the jury from the association is GEWO a front of the bavarian economy and a company with the motto „We are a family“. The company comes out specially for the strong employee retention: Many social offer for example massages, sport courses, fruit days and bicycle tours for the workforce makes a perfect working atmosphere. Family companies are strong rooted in their region. It´s also very important, to make sustained jobs on their location and a special support for the employees. GEWO is an example for the Corporate Philosophy, accent jury-speaker DR. DR. Walter Schmidt.

Above all the jury was fascinated in the responsible training, further education and management of stuff. Since 2007 were taken over nearly all employees. Even an asylium canidate got a chance for a future. The exemplary and unusual high training rate shows, that GEWO carries a high level of social responsibility as well as investments in working places for their employees in the future, so Dr. Dr. Schmidt.

The price „bavaria with Nymphenburger Porcellan“ was awarded to Marianne and Georg Woitzik, who set up the company with their sons together. „This award is a recognition, to go on with our business as usual“, they said in frame of the bavarian family business congress in Nürnberg. 1981 the company was set up and is specialized in production of workpieces  for semiconductor industry, aviation and space travel and also for medizine and research. It stands for the 50 fastest-growing companies in bavaria and is one of the most important training companies in south Munich.
